Bipolar Blog: Poem 2, From my book, I have Bipolar, Bipolar isn’t me Author Wendy Taylor.
HATE
Hating me is easy.
It fills my being with pure disgust.
I love to laugh, but mostly I just cry.
I want to live, but the pain makes me want to die.
I hate lows, and want to be high.
When I am high, I don’t want it to end.
I am both ends of the pole,
and a balance in between.
Lost and misunderstood.
Dying to break free from these chains, that bipolar made of me.
~ Wendy Taylor ~
Negative emotions play an enormous part in the lives of bipolar people and feelings of death and suicide take control. Mostly bipolar people long for the mania as it allows one to take risks and come out their shell so to speak.
